I can set up a magical barrier, and this body can sense a lot of things, too, such as mages and magecraft. And do things, too! It's way too many to list. My eye can look in the distance for a couple of miles, for example.
Eh, that was just something that got out of hand. We're good, now. But for a bit, we did get a little tense with each other. I don't think I was nice about mages around him, initially.
Mages are usually born to families. They keep their magical prowess in those families, and are obsessive over power and birthright. They're usually callous and cruel to others, and will even be willing to kill other mages if it means getting what they want.
[Basically....insane rich people brainworms with magic powers. Ugh.]
